# Echoes of Cryptalia
**Echoes of Cryptalia** is a NFT-based Multimode RPG modeled in hi-bit. By "Multimode", we mean that our project is **a constelation of small to medium game modes** to serve as **player** **resource inputs**, all gravitating around the **core Base Building game mode**: **Gamified Staking**. As such, it features a deep focus on resource management and optimization, while integrating key crypto financial tools into its Core Loop.
**Echoes of Cryptalia** is set in an aesthetically unique take on medieval imagination, with the inclusion of striking use of neonized color and all-around fusion music & sound design, curated & generative narrative quest techniques, and incentive-based mechanisms to ensure ecosystem health.
Players represent **Master Tacticians** from the **Council of Echoes**, in command of a local company of military assets from the **Third Phalanx of Echoes**, to take down Cryptalia, celestially deformed world zones. Master Tacticians, through Upgrade Buildings & related game actions in our groundbreaking **Gamified Staking thesis**, dispose of arbitrary large numbers of possible strategic approaches (or *variants*) to achieve their goals.
Although outcomes for gaming tokens differ from case to case, **we recognize ONE KEY PROBLEM in** other Web3 Games' Tokenomics: **most of them are simply a Web2 Game with a "token sprinkled on top."** This will never work, as redundancy in circulating supply eventually makesthem crush. In consequence, **we designed Echoes of Cryptalia's Game & Economy as ONE SINGLE STRUCTURE.**
**Gamified Staking** is a key innovation for crypto gaming by achieving, simultaneously, two seemingly disparate goals. On the one hand, it *superpowers the use of our native token $ECHO*, as it has the in-game use to build **Upgrade Buildings** by staking (and not spending) the token, setting up a player loop which mints unique NFTs to use for combat optimization or eventually to place in the market. And, on the other hand, Gamified Staking allows us to integrate crypto features in-game, drastically reducing the friction for players that aren’t familiarized with some of the key crypto tools, effectively serving as a democratizing interface for asset management while providing a fun and dynamic experience.
**Account Abstraction & Pre-approved Transactions** make Gamified Staking Base Building a 100% seamless experience that **NEVER. BREAKS. IMMERSION.** Simply by taking game actions that aim for game progression, every player will be **staking $ECHO**, thus pushing Total Value Locked (TVL) up.

We’re convinced that our proposal not only will appeal to crypto enthusiasts by offering a gaming experience deeply intertwined with blockchain technology, true ownership, and an innovative mechanism for asset management, but also to gamers that won’t have to face intimidating screens any longer and will be able to optimize their assets simply by playing the game and taking game actions. And all of the above, simply by seamlessly staking our token with Pre-Approved Transactions technology and not by spending it.
